I like this store. They are like the H&M of home decorating. Fairly cheap pricing and new things every week. It had been a long time since I'd last gone and, this being the first "cool" day of the week,  I armed myself with patience and hauled the girls with me for a little shopping. The hope of a sushi lunch may or may not have been mentioned as means of promoting good behavior.

We hadn't even taken in the first "room" display when Big Sister exclaimed "Mommy I think you're going to be surprised . . ."

Sure enough, a scooter, the likes of which I've never seen emblazoned with the Hebrew word for  "police", was there on a shelf. In the time I've been here I've noticed that the store usually gathers inspiration from rural France, Indonesia, India, the US, and England--so this was a first.


Homes of the World indeed.
