I Spy With My Little Eye...
...signs that the 9th stage of the Tour de France passed through here....
....as did another, amateur Tour, called the Mondovelo (monde au vélo= literally: masses of people on bikes).
Check out the little jersey shaped "flags".
Note: today, Tuesday, the Tour nears the Alps and a Frenchman is wearing the coveted yellow jersey....

The Road to Hell
In many a French town you will find this peculiarly named road. Taken at face value, it is the road to hell. However, its true meaning comes from "inferior" or lower road.
Fun fact, the rue d'enfer in Sables D'Olonnes made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the narrowest street in the world at only 40 cms wide.
