So we are back to cold weather. Franchement. The heat has come on in the house for 3 consecutive days. I feel the need to head south. That said, strawberries have come out en force at the supermarchés here though not yet in my garden. And while I'll take my garden strawberries over store-bought any day, these were red and tasted like real strawberries, not watered-down clones.
Eat. Whole. Sliced. Eat. Eat.
