McDonald's here is now offering Kiwi-on-a-stick in the Happy Meal. Big Sister gave it a thumbs-up!

Fairy Dust

According to this report, France will be blanketed by radioactive particles coming from Japan in the coming days.

With impressive irony, this transparency from the government comes on the heels of another nuclear shocker : the investigation into the effects of the Chernobyl blast on France has been suspended and the case will most likely be dismissed. One man, Prof. Pierre Pellerin, was the main "expert" at the time and was recently (2007) charged with having given the public false information concerning the gravity of the radioactive pollution that fell on France. He promptly appealed. Strangely, the judge investigating the reportedly false levels of radioactivity and the spike in the number of thyroid related illnesses, has just been suspended. Her decade of investigation has gone to naught as the prosecutor in the case will most likely ask for a dismissal when the appeal goes to court at the end of the month. Coincidence?

Soooooo, that leaves the rest of us free to stockpile bottled water, canned goods, and UHT milk.

Get your "dork" on!!
