This week we've been dealing with all kinds of fever. First up, it's cold outside. Everyone on the planet seems to be feeling the big chill this week. Woohoo! Bring on the hot chocolate and movies! I may or may not have proposed cereal for lunch one day. I don't know about you, but growing up there were such things as "cereal night" and my personal favorite, "fend for yourself night". I turned out fine, promise!
Secondly, Big Sister has a virus. Five days of fever and counting. Apparently it's been going around. We went to see the wonderful Dr.C and she gave us the power duo of paracetamol/ibuprofen and a note for the school. That's it. Suck it up! Merci.
It's now Wednesday and cabin fever is at an all time high. If the makers of Play-dough are reading this, how about offering a complementary Dyson with the purchase of every 6-pack??
If you came over to my house tonight you'd probably see this:

| Yes, I took the picture THEN liberated her! |
because this is how an especially active toddler deals with being cooped up. I won't even tell you the song and dance number she did in Dr.C's waiting room. When little old ladies that usually ooh and aaaah over your child tell you "she doesn't stop, does she?" you know you need to get to a park a.s.a.p. Or get her to run it out on a treadmill. Or have a drink then vacuum up more play-dough. Eh, you pick.
If you came over to my house tonight you'd probably eat these:

| Stuffed Mushrooms |
and rice
or rice and beans
or rice and chicken
or bread and cheese
or applesauce and peanut butter
and then mushrooms
or maybe cereal
because all of that was on the menu because I have one patient and one choosy eater on my hands and I can't take this grey weather anymore. Dr. C. said that her older patients are downing record amounts of Vitamin D vials this winter . . . can I get some of those, on the rocks??
